Intro
So…
Its been a while…
I have no idea what to blog about at all. just feel like i need to update. (and as if ppl read my blog anyways… no pictures mah right? pictures only draw people to read right? says amanda la)
i shall add pictures this time..
Assignments
Ok. so… lets start with assignments. i have tons of them and my lecturers keep giving extras! last semester i only had two assignments per subject. This semester i have like 4 and above per subject. its like crazy i tell you. Plus, at the end of the year, we have to sell our own t-shirt design.. gosh.. its like… why so many things happening.. cant we just stick to written work and 2 assignments per subject. why 4, or 5, or 6… or extra work???? nuts… and it gives me extra stress just to think about it. im like so afraid to think about whats next…
so far, the written work are alright… i prefer writing anyways. but the designing work is crazy. especially on Ai.. i dont really like adobe.. its complicated and now i have to do all my designs on Ai. ALL!
Assignments are one thing… participation is another. lecturers are like bringing us out all the time, go here, go there, which also means extra presentations… and slideshows, and burning work into CD’s, printing work and binding, wasting money!!!!! what happened to the 500 ringgit resource fee i paid eh? no idea.. it went to some peoples pockets to spend.
Im not complaining at the same time i am, i feel like i have been spending alot of my parents money on school stuff and i feel its a waste. my schools fees are already so much, and now have to spend extra money?
shakes head in dismay…. i really pray that i do well this semester ( though it seems to me my work looks all so horrible!!!!), if i do well i can apply for a full scholarship, then i wont waste so much of my parent’s money.
Heres my latest Ai work on creating my own fonts for an invitation card.

And heres the back. i feel like i did better on Ai this time around compared to when i was doing my logo design (which doesnt represent me at all but it was what my lecturer wanted)
Heres an advert i did just because my lecturer wanted to do a contest randomly, the winner gets extension for the next assignment deadline.. wow.. like i needed that so badly.. NOT.
its supposely pair work.. but ya.. i did it alone.. i did it today actually, this morning. Microsoft publishers is easier to use compared to Ai.
im getting my partner to print it out. Lecturer wants it in A3…

moving on…
8tv quickie is having a new face search for a new host. they are coming to my uni on october 16 and yes, you are right, i am so going to audition for it.
” From the hundreds that comes through the doors for the open auditions, 6 of them will be chosen to undergo classes and training (PR, Communication Skills & Grooming). Tasks/challenges will be given to these Top 6 participants to test their skills in reporting and hosting. The tasks/challenges that are given are actual assignments that consists of product launches, events and LIVE interviews. ”
There us voting involved too! Yes yes… please vote for me if i do get through.. which i really pray i do, this is a chance for me to earn some cash and appear on TV. LOL. if i dont get through, i only have to say one thing, it aint God’s plan.
Judes bday gift
So. last night was talking to Jude, he brought up the topic on what to get on my birthday. but it seems that his bday is so much more nearer.. i have no idea what to get him. please give suggestions.
Maybe i should get him more guitar picks to.. erm.. nevermind.
please note: he is a guy, so think along those lines. and dont ask me to get musician stuff- too expensive.
The GIFT
Yup, so xmas is coming and i joined the drama team to help out in planning for the 6 sketches we plan on doing for xmas.
the last meeting, we had to do an act on peter walking on water… and its a one man show. honestly, i was scared. i havent acted for a very very very long time, and im pretty self conscious.. so ya.. but it was good, cause i really stepped out and did it anyways.
OUr next meeting, we would be doing the same. as well as come up with the sketches ideas. then we can give out roles and start practicing.
Track of Talents Gala Night
Alright. The gala night which was suppose to be next month has postponed to november, which gives us more run up time to prepare.
we hope to open it to the public as the Gala night is a formal charity dinner to raise funds for Tenaganita. (if im not mistaken, Tenaganita helps women and workers in the terms of human rights.)
The tickets are RM50, which all of it goes to Tenaganita.
If you are interested, let me know and i can get the tickets for you.
We are hoping to sell around 120 tickets (if not mistaken).
Heres your chance to help someone in our community that really needs help as well as dress up as if you are going to the oscars. hahahaha.
Oh, and im Co hosting the event with Cuza, so if you are my friend.. ahem* support la.
Leadership Retreat
The leadership retreat was good. i learnt alot on how we really need to bring in more pre-believers as it is what we are called to do.
We played the churchgame for like 2 days, which was good too, it was the main thing that taught me the most!
Btw, our church (chrystin, chris & I), New Life church, has 182 members!!! one of the biggest i think. we made it a point to bring in 10 unbelievers each year as well as keep our prayers for spiritual attack. i noticed how prayer is important and is really needed in each stage.
I really have to start praying more!
CYW Camp
Well, the CYW camp was great. the sessions i did ran well. i believe everyone had fun during my session. and i need to thank sarah, amanda, genevieve and joel for helping out! (after the camp i fell sick though, due to lack of water and stress.

This is my group at the camp, group 2, the Lim kok wing people:) i wanted to be in creative life, but oh well, i stayed in the same apartment as them though. it was just me and sarah for girls and we had the best room 
The camp was a good platform for me to be bold as i briefed a bunch of students on what to do during my session. i cant say much about what happened cause it was like weeks ago.. not that i forgot what happened but its way too long of a story to tell. way toooo long.
all you have to know is that it was great, and it really taught us the need for change.
and speaking of change, God in “Evan almighty” said that Change starts with one Act of Random Kindness. which also stands for ARK- the theme of the movie.

Im turning 19 soon. which means i have 1 more year to achieve something great. but i believe that i first need to be humble, which i have been improving alot and spend consistent quiet time with him, which i have not been cause… i keep forgetting. which is bad. very bad. but im working on it. time to put a post it saying “Do your quiet time” on my wardrobe.
I believe God knows my character very well, and my birthday verse so happens to be on humility, which i have to constantly tell myself to be humble.
Romans 12:3, “For by the grace given me i say to everyone of you: Do not think of yourself more highly than you ought, but rather think of yourself with sober judgement in accordance with the measure of faith God has given you.”
romans 12, 12 for december and 3 for my birthdate. i did some extra research. i went through all the books of the bible on chapter 12 verse 3, and i think 3 of them were also talking about humility. wow right. haha.
