My Fingers are Aching

So.. one month of holiday.. i didnt know what to do.

seperately i wanted to learn the piano for quite some time.

Anyways, when two of it comes together, you get the picture! Im learning piano :)

I have a small keyboard at home, 29 keys, antic.. about 25 years old?? so, since my mum said she can only send me for piano lessons next year, (with Jude.. which i think i would still be taking.. cause.. ya, i need it to get better) i couldnt wait.. and since im so free… i decided to pick it up myself.

so here i am. day two of learning the piano by myself. i found andrew furmanczyk, who makes online classes for free in the form of videos, and you can look it up on youtube. that guy is super awesome, he really is a great teacher, and i’ve learnt alot from him, in just TWO days.

so you know, yesterday, i watched 7 of his lessons, 3 basic lessons, 3 theory, and one about how the piano works.. which i wasnt really listening. anyways, so now, i can read music sheets and play! though my hand coordination is still abit weird, cause my left hand is weaker.. i can still play. so far, i’ve learnt the treble clef of “can you feel the love tonight”, i managed to learn the first line of the bass clef, in coordination of my two hands. yay! and now i really believe playing intervals really work instead of reading each note.

am, very happy.. and now my fingers hurt. tomorrow, i;ll go through a few more of his lessons and practice “can you feel the love tonight”, then.. ya. I would most probably know how to play the entire song by the end of next week… maybe? even though its not my song choice.. but yea.. it was a beginner song that i knew.

Next time someone asks me if i can play an instrument.. i’ll say.. i can play the keyboards!!!

Better rest my fingers now.. they dont have the stamina to keep running up and down the keys.
